edit 1 spring.

in News

We have been looking forward to launching this year’s first spring edit since the collection was signed off last autumn and now that it’s landed we are delighted to finally share it with you. We see the first spring edit as our most important of the year, it sets the tone for what lies ahead and seamlessly bridges the gap between the last remnants of winter and the longer days of summer still to come.

This year our spring edit follows comfortable on, almost as an extension of the recent lounge launch with easy chalky neutrals and the introduction of super soft organic denim, faded padded chambray and natural indigo dyed forever pieces to start off the new season.

Carefully curated for easy layering, every piece has been chosen for its longevity and craftsmanship, the ability to add that much yearned for spring refresh and to fit within the existing collection. Interchangeable and transeasonal, this edit will work hard in the wardrobe for months to come.

We have included that all important wardrobe staple with what we think is the perfect crisp white cotton shirt, cosy mohair blend sweaters in ginger, cream and a blue almost the perfect shade of periwinkle along with garment dyed separates from Project AJ to pull the collection colours together. Continuing our love of easy fluid shapes we have the most gorgeous wide drapey trousers and relaxed floppy soft black top from all-time Scandi favourite, Humanoid. Comfortable, stylish and incredibly flattering; this outfit along with their butter soft leather crossbody bag in sage is our new wardrobe go to.

This season we’re excited to have taken on a new sock brand that we’re so happy to be stocking. New to woven but not new to what they do, Nishiguchi Kutsushita have been producing socks in Japan since 1950, selecting the best natural materials and using traditional methods to create simple, beautiful knitted accessories. There will be both womens and mens sizes available so perfect for gifting. We hope you love them as much as we do!

But, our absolute hero piece has to be this edit’s coat offering by Hannoh Wessel. We are totally smitten with everything Hannoh Wessel creates and this coat is no exception; the colour, the relaxed oversized shape and the signature red stitch detailing on the buttons. It’s absolutely beautiful and truly showcases the designers unique aesthetic and authentic love of natural materials and artisan craftsmanship - utility with a handmade sensibility.
