As the great British summer nears its end we welcome our favourite season at woven…autumn.
As always our garments are easy to wear for everyday, making getting dressed easy and helping you get the most from the items you buy.
We have found a couple of new brands for you; Muku a sustainable brand from Lithuania heralding simple designs crafted using expertly woven natural fibres. Crossley from Italy for its’ perfect trouser styles in denim, canvas and soft cord. Making a return is one of our favourite brands Vic + Bert from Australia with perfectly designed basics and drop crotch pants which we love. We are so excited to have the incredible Spanish show brand Chie Mihara in store to ensure you are well shod this winter. We have picked our own colours colours and leather finishes to fit in with our edit. Coming back to us is LA brand Amente with some really cool patchwork coats, jackets and waistcoats.
Elliot Organics provides us with the best organic tees and sweatshirts that are must have items in any working wardrobe. We particularly love this brand as Alex the founder is local to us in Brighton as is Paula Kirkwood who designs and makes functional bags using vegetable tanned leathers. We also have a couple of local jewellery makers adding the finishing touches to outfits.
Of course we have our usual favourite brands Hannoh, Aequamente, Apuntob, Black Crane & Project AJ117 providing the core our of AW24 curation.
The colour palette although fairly neutral is full of texture and some interesting silhouettes. Of course there will always be lots of black but we have ventured into navy giving a classic yet modern feel with a splash of red. This season feels luxurious and a bit more put together, time to smarten up…just a tad though!
Autumnal tones of brown, cinnamon and ochre add warmth to the collection with dirty creams in cashmere, silk & Japanese wool.
On the dark side we’ve chosen interestingly woven fabrics in black, charcoal & bitter chocolate which we will be styling together.
