The Edits

“I’ve spent years styling clients and helping them build wardrobes over time, with key pieces, staples and a few hero items.”

Along with endless time in the showroom with our wholesale business and looking at the outfits that can be put together across the brands, curating the collections and spotting those styles that will weave into one another whilst also having a distinct cool look has become like a second nature.

We wanted the 4 Edits to have the ability to mix well and will be offering up ideas on re-styling pieces that you have bought from us. The idea of creating a look which can function as a uniform. it’s about a certain style makes getting dressed so much easier, especially if you are a busy woman like myself!

“Listening and understanding needs, assessing body shapes and knowing how to get the best from your shape, and realising that it all comes down to style and knowing what works for you.”

“I have found my own mix of style that seems to span across many years and has a few things in the mix… a bit Skandi, a bit utility and a splash of Japanese minimalism – I have discovered over the years that these 3 elements work well together and are timeless in their essence, just adding the odd hero item into each season keeps the look contemporary.”

“I have also found in my experience that buying well made items really is an investment and that these garments can be reinvented over their lifespan, avoiding more landfill with clothes we don’t need.”

Thinking about what we actually need in our wardrobes as the seasons change is actually not that difficult. When you can layer accordingly, your clothing becomes much more transeasonal meaning you can get year round wear from quite a few items. Helping you to live towards a zero waste lifestyle with buying less but buying well.

“Sourcing a few lifestyle products has been a joy but we didn’t want to just churn out a load of stuff that can be found in every store. Instead we seek out special items with a real story behind the making and of course they have to fit with the style that is Woven.”
