conscious gifting.

Christmas 2020 is going to be different and what we’ve taken for granted in previous years now seems so much more precious as we head into the festive season. Christmas at home with loved ones is where we’re hoping to find ourselves and alongside hugging everyone that little bit harder and longer, we’ll be letting them know how much they mean to through the small act of giving beautifully wrapped thoughtful and considered gifts. With everything going on in the world around us it’s never seemed more important or relevant to promote a shift towards conscious gifting.

winter wellbeing.

We all know how important it is be mindful of eating plenty of fresh fruit and veg, to keep moving and to stay hydrated in order to boost our immune systems when the weather turns colder but what can we do to help our general sense of wellbeing?

It would appear that resilience is key and being outside during daylight hours is an instant mood lifter even on the greyest day. Yep, we hear you, it can be pretty hard to find the motivation to leave the house if you don’t need to when it’s really cold, but taking just a few moments to breathe in the fresh air can have a dramatic impact on your spirits and encourages clarity. So wrap up warm and turn your face to the sun as often as you can.

living.

Spending more time at home as the nights draw in allows us to gently prepare and cosy up for the coming months.
With this in mind, we’ve hand-picked all you need to get hygge at home this season.
It’s so important for us all to have a comforting space that feels safe and homely and buying products that enhance this feeling is key to our wellbeing.

autumn edit one.

The seasonal move from summer to autumn is subtle and shifting regardless of calendar dates. Gradually the days become shorter and the air smells different as around us in the natural world the landscape slowly changes. When the nights draw in our natural response is to spend more time at home, now possibly more so than ever.

staycation.

We’re pretty pleased to be giving our carbon footprint a rest for a while and discovering more of what our own little island has to offer.

botanicals.

Introducing “Botanicals” - a collection of large postcard prints delightfully illustrated by our friend Pip Bishop who never fails to capture our Woven Store style so beautifully.

brand focus.

We love to see behind the scenes of the brands we work with and wanted to share the story of the India Textile Company who use traditional techniques when crafting their garments and homewares.

sustainability.

For us, the importance of wearing comfortable, light fabrics that can also be layered is key to creating your summer wardrobe. We have chosen the pieces that you will enjoy for many summers to come ensuring you get value from every piece and can interchange with clothing you already own.
